Nexus the Water Elemental

This is an OC of mine, from a fanfiction I hope to post someday, but I thought he's worth showing off.
Nexus is a Chameleon, and a teenager(14)in elemental years. He grew up rather sheltered, so he's a bit naive in the ways of the modern world, but believes in the good in everyone and tries to do the right thing. He wears sharkskin leggings and a fishnet shirt. He has the ability to control the flow of nearby water. However, his parents were very traditional, and he struggles with the use of words like "don't", preferring "do not". He is offended by the use of slang, and can be a little stuffy sometimes. Nexus was sent as an emissary to announce the return of the age of the elementals, and prove his maturity.
I was inspired for his look by the patterning on Tiger Sharks
