The Sonamy debate's been going on since Sonic CD. I enjoy Sonamy, regardless of the fact that Sonic's never flat out confirmed to her his true feelings. But one thing's true- Sonic at least loves Amy as a friend.

Sonamy happens to be my OTP, but I can't see them forming a stable relationship at this point in their lives. Both of them need to do a lot of maturing first. (Amy, for instance, needs to learn that her forward displays of affection are a turn-off for Sonic, and Sonic doesn't necessarily have to be a romantic, but will have to reach a point where he finds that he needs more in his life than adventure, and that's something he'll have to do before he could be paired up with anyone.)
